A Family Heritage of Craftsmanship
Annabel's passion for fashion did not begin in a design studio.
It began generations earlier.
Her great-grandmother studied couture, embroidery, and traditional craftsmanship at Școala Centrală in Bucharest, one of Romania's most prestigious schools for young women. Founded in the nineteenth century, the school was known for educating young ladies not only in academic subjects, but also in etiquette, arts, sewing, embroidery, and craftsmanship.
These skills were considered an important part of a young woman's education.
The knowledge she acquired was passed on to the next generation. Annabel's grandmother learned through observation, practice, and experience, while her mother developed a deep appreciation for couture and Parisian fashion.
Growing up surrounded by women who valued elegance, craftsmanship, and quality, Annabel developed an early understanding that beautiful things carry stories.
This idea would later become the foundation of ANEVAN.
Engineering, Technology and Entrepreneurship
Before entering the fashion industry, Annabel built her career in technology and business.
As a Computer Science Engineer, she developed a passion for problem-solving, systems thinking, and innovation. These skills became the foundation for her entrepreneurial journey.
Throughout her career, she has worked across multiple industries including technology, manufacturing, luxury goods, international operations, and brand development.
Her engineering background continues to influence the way she approaches fashion, combining creativity with structure, quality, and long-term thinking.
Building Luxury Brands
Before founding ANEVAN, Annabel co-founded Maison Sybarite, a luxury fragrance brand known for its innovative approach to fine fragrance.
The experience gave her valuable insight into luxury product development, international business, branding, customer experience, and manufacturing.
Following her exit from the company, she began focusing on a new vision that combined her family heritage, entrepreneurial experience, and belief in the emotional power of fashion.
That vision became ANEVAN.
Global Operations Director & Partner at VS-FACTORY®
Alongside ANEVAN, Annabel serves as Global Operations Director & Partner at VS-FACTORY®, an international creative signature operating at the intersection of architecture, technology, and human experience.
VS-FACTORY® is known for its Smart Immersive Architecture® approach, creating immersive environments and experiences across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
In her role, Annabel contributes to the orchestration of complex international projects, ensuring alignment between strategic vision, operational execution, governance, and long-term value creation.
Her work involves collaborating with clients, institutions, investors, architects, designers, engineers, and multidisciplinary teams to transform ambitious ideas into meaningful realities.
Wellness, Yoga and Human Potential

She is a certified Kundalini Yoga Teacher and an advocate for healthy living, mindfulness, longevity, and biohacking.
